The eye is a recurring symbol within LogoArchive. Its three part structure; a contrast of sclera, iris and pupil, as well as its spherical profile and front facing biconvex shape, afforded mid-century symbol makers a stylistic, communicative and associative potential. Issue #2 explores this potential alongside aesthetic commonalities and contextual differences over time, as LogoArchive in print reconfigures itself into a chronological document rather than a product of productive agency.
